DJ KYARATT
Know to his family as Che Beckford, Dj Kyaratt started playing music in 2009...since then he has grown to become a very versitile selector.
As a young boy going to church he was given the responsibility of playing the congo drum. then upgraded to the drum set, this peek his interest in music so as soon as he was old enough he went on to study at the Sam Wisdom Music School...
But his musical intrigue did end there, Che went on to teach himself the basics of dj-ing off his brothers' video mixing sound,and over time developed the skills he posses today
Since joining Mixplosion his professionalism has increased, which he accredites to his mentor Dj Ali Patch, who identified his potential and gave him the opportunity to join the Mixplosion movement.
DJ SURGE
DJ Surge aka Sparxxx and who's birth name is Marlon Sparks started with a genetic passion for music, he always enjoyed watching and listening his Father playing drums as a hobby, He grew to love doing the same thing during his high school days, whenever he had time on his hands. Knocking benches and have fellow classmates spit hardcore dancehall lyrics until the end of the lunch time or when his hands got exhausted.
His facination grew as a youngters, through attending dances and seeing selectors play. this lighted a small spark within him, with the spark, he started tutoring himself on how to mix songs together and make smooth transitions to make a perfect cross fade, as he started on his quest to be a DJ . So he worked at getting gigs and built a network and made every contact count.
It was then that he was discovered by DJ Ali Patch who had a rich history, experience and knowledge about the industry.
With that being done. The MIXPLOSION SOUND SYSTEM began to come together and from then on, it has been nothing but looking forward and aiming to pursue enormous rewards through this powerful movement.
DJ Surge loves what he does, hence where he is thus far and where he is about to go.
DJ ALI PATCH
Stephen Hayles Jnr is a phenomenal entertainer and musical connoisseur, but he's more popularly known as Ali Patch, the DJ. His signature patch over his right eye makes him easily recognizable in any crowd or on any stage, spinning all genres of music for every age. Many have asked, "Why the patch? Is it for fashion? Did he lose an eye?" Well, Ali Patch is a cancer survivor and the battle with the disease at age 3 in his eye is what makes him such a fighter in life today.
Ali was sure to end up in the business, no matter his career choice. His main influence came from his father Stephen Hayles Snr, whom everyone knows better by the moniker Father Bunny and as a former owner of top sound system Bass Odyssey.Ali was taught by his father to play 45's and LP's on Bass Odyssey's sound system since the tender age of 8 years old. He was very small so he had to stand on crates to reach the turntables back then. By the time he turned 14, Ali was playing his father's sound system professionally and was also hired to work in Aquarius Records, which was owned by his family as well.
Over the years Ali Patch went on to play music which had grown to be a career of his. Playing at several events he gained notarity, and as an active member of TNG Muzik, his fan base grew. He is now still embarking on his musical journey and has made it his soul- duty to help pave the way for young talents which helped him to come about with the group MixPlosion.
